Kristian Von Bengtson resigns as chairman from Copenhagen Suborbitals
0

A few days ago Kristian Von Bengtson, one of the founders of Copenhagen Suborbitals, announced his resignation as chairman on twitter in order to concentrate on designing their new crowdfunded space capsule.

Von Bengtson gave the reason for his resignation as having too much administration work to do, while designing the capsule should be his priority as the organisations lead spacecraft engineer.

It certainly seems like he’s cracking on with his efforts – last week he publically posted the ongoing development report for Tycho Deep Space II (the new capsule), tweeted some rough sketches of the capsule during recovery operations and conducting 1/3 scale model tests before christmas.
